There are moments in life where something shifts from an idea, dream, or side project into something real. This week was one of those moments for me.
Kilted Adventures LLC is now officially open for business in Homer, Alaska.
Over the past several months, I’ve been slowly building out my fill station, servicing equipment, learning systems, networking within the dive community, and trying to do things the right way instead of rushing to “open the doors.” That process included compressor maintenance, filtration changes, oxygen-clean procedures, air sampling, Nitrox sampling, insurance, licensing, and a mountain of learning behind the scenes.
This week I received official passing laboratory results for both my Oxygen Compatible Air (OCA) and Nitrox testing standards. That means Kilted Adventures can now begin providing SCUBA air fills and Nitrox fills here in Homer.
Current services include:
- SCUBA air fills
- Nitrox fills
- Argon support for drysuit divers
What started years ago as a personal passion for diving and adventure has steadily evolved into something larger. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to receive mentorship, guidance, and support from some outstanding people within Alaska’s diving and marine communities.

- Friends, divers, and supporters who have encouraged this journey from the beginning
One of the things that has become increasingly clear during this process is that Kilted Adventures may grow beyond recreational diving support alone. Conversations this week opened the door toward future underwater marine service work supporting Homer’s commercial fleet, including hull cleaning, zinc replacement, underwater inspection, and related support services. That road is still ahead, but the foundation is beginning to form.
